Nixus is a planet in the Wanwood System. It is one of the new planets added to the game, and one of the few new factions to be added.
Terrain
The terrain of Nixus is dotted by islands, the biggest one of which is approximately 3 Tech-Centers in size. Nixus also has an underwater region, filled with Crystals which can be mined with Submarines for approximately 85 RU/s each. Nixus's sea is the second deepest sea in the game, after Auscuro.
Wildlife
Nixus is inhabited by Hammerheads and normal Sharks, who will attack players on sight. If the player makes it to land quickly, they will cease attacking the player. Both sharks are extremely tank-y and hard to kill. requiring many rockets to kill a single one. And will even damage vehicles if the player gets too close and will even chase despite the player being in a vehicle. And for this reason, Nixus is very difficult to traverse. Making it one of the hardest home worlds to develop on currently.
Lore
Nixus is inhabited by Hammerheads and normal Sharks, who we assume to eat Nixian Weed Grachak, a type of Algae, though there have been recorded instances of submarine and players being attacked.
The wildlife were created by ADA332, who has been remarked to give tours of the planet to players when he is online. Thus, he has been revered as a sage and god of the planet.
Trivia
- Nixus was planned to have penguins and hookmouths at one point. But this idea was ultimately removed, but the sharks, and hammerheads of course still made it in.
