The Cube is a megastructure built by the notable builder Minerjamer227. It was built for unknowns to live together in secret from everyone else. The Cube contained a full city inside the Cube, defenses outside of the Cube, as well as the Protectors. It lasted nearly 5 days straight before it got completely destroyed by 0Nift, an Infamous pirate.
Battle of The Cube
The battle would last 4 days and 24 hours straight. It would involve every known factions in the solar system, including Unknown Empire, to fight over The Cube. The residents in The Cube, better known as the Protectors, continuously repaired The Cube and the city, and defended The Cube from the invaders all by themselves. In the final days of the battle, the Protectors would hire the Katharian Military Police as mercenaries to keep the city and The Cube secure.
Destruction of the Cube
During the battle over The Cube, the residents of The Cube, better known as the Protectors, continuously repaired The Cube and the city, and defended The Cube from the invaders all by themselves. In the final days of the battle, the Protectors would hire Katharans as mercenaries to keep the city and the Cube secure primarily due to the inability to team-kill any team(s) at that time. In the final hours of the battle, 0Nift would join the game when there was only one Protector being online defending the Cube overnight. 0Nift immediately bombed, utilized turbo rocket launcher, regular rocket launcher, and even delete tool (due to the blocks being unlocked after the original builder left the game) on The Cube. Over a hour of 1-on-1 fight and multiple attempts to repair any broken parts, the Protector would be defeated with the final remaining RUs to spend on a ship that would get destroyed instantly. This enabled 0Nift to destroy The Cube without any resistance. This marked the end of The Cube and the server itself.
For the time being, the server with The Cube remained the longest running Solar Conquest 2 server ever, 5 days. This has now been overtaken by the Dyson Sphere.
