The '''Tank''' are one of the ground-based vehicles known in Solar Conquest II and the only one with armaments in game in opposition to the rover; equipped with 2 heavy cannons and 1 rocket launcher, it is effective mainly as a defensive vehicle and is known to be a good counter against air/space based vehicles. It is capable of both traveling on land and water on planets and cannon laser/missile velocity from the vehicle is maintained even underwater. It's frontal armor has increased strength (reduces incoming damage).

Whilst they are extremely effective as an offensive vehicle (preferred vehicle in taking down towers and outposts on enemy planets/homeworlds) and even more so as a defensive weapon, its main downfall is that its turret is destructible as is with the rest of the parts on the vehicle. Due to them often taking damage from towers whilst used to attack an enemy planet, it is most vulnerable and are often preyed upon from enemy tanks with full health and are countered even more effectively by bombers. Its driver seat entry point is also quite small and is often hard to get into which is why it is suggested that players use shields whilst attempting to get inside the tank when being shot/targeted. Alternatively, you can spawn the tank on top of your avatar in game with the seat centered on your avatar in order to avoid having the trouble of trying to get inside through the top entry hatch.
