General Information

The Tank is one of the ground-based vehicles known in Solar Conquest II and the only one with armaments in the game in opposition to the rover. Equipped with 2 heavy cannons and 1 rocket launcher, it is effective mainly as a defensive vehicle and is known to be a good counter against air and space-based vehicles. It is capable of both traveling on land and water on planets, and cannon laser or missile velocity from the vehicle is maintained even underwater. It's frontal armor has increased strength (reduces incoming damage).

The tank can also be dropped from a station using a tactic known as Tank Dropping.

While they are extremely effective as an offensive vehicle (a preferred vehicle for taking down towers and outposts on enemy planets and homeworlds) and even more so as a defensive weapon, their main downfall is that their turret is destructible, as is the case with the rest of the parts on the vehicle. Due to them often taking damage from towers while being used to attack an enemy planet, they are most vulnerable, are often preyed upon by enemy tanks with full health, and are countered even more effectively by bombers. Its driver seat entry point is also quite small and is often hard to get into, which is why it is suggested that players use shields while attempting to get inside the tank when being shot or targeted. Alternatively, you can spawn the tank on top of your avatar in game with the seat centered on your avatar in order to avoid having the trouble of trying to get inside through the top entry hatch.
