The Skimmer is an Amphibious Transport Vehicle that can move on land and water. They are usually used on Cothran and Havalu because the planets have seas and oceans. The only downside with the Skimmer is a reduced speed compared to the Rover, and that it is harder to control. This vehicle also can carry up to 2 passengers.
Trivia
The Skimmer spins very fast on ice, and travels faster than its max speed on lower G planets, such as Kathara or Minral.
