Gaze is a conquerable green planet orbited by a ring system and a single moon. It is located within the Wanwood System, and is one of the few recently added planets to the game.
Terrain
From a far, Gaze appears to be a typical planet that has a ring and a moon. However, upon landing on the surface, you'll be greeted with a green sky, and a very bumpy terrain covered in small eyeballs. The terrain itself is mostly covered with tall and small tendrils, along with a handful of mineable bushes and trees. However, the bushes and trees on Gaze are covered in eyeballs, and not just those, parts of Gaze's terrain has a few large eyeballs staring into the sky.
Sitting near the capture point lies a wrecked purple light cruiser thats partially sunk into the water. It couldn't be repaired nor flown, however it does contain a few mineable materials that you can mine for RU's.
NPCs
Interestingly, Gaze has its own NPC's. They are the Abomination's! a species of humanoid-like beings with giant eye balls as their heads, and their torso appears to be colored in two shades of green.
Unlike the zombies at Hades or the removed planet, Persephone, the Abomination's won't chase the player around, and they don't appear hostile. However, attempting to get close to one will result in the player taking damage.
Though, you can still kill them and you can still collect the material they drop for RU's.
Trivia
- Gaze is orbited by a brown moon, this moon (whose name has yet to be confirmed) has a surface gravity of 0.5g, which is a bit higher than Gaze's. Landing on the surface will reveal a rocky and mountainous-like terrain, but also the ruins of a tower from Doomspire brickbattle. The Tower is broken into two pieces, the first piece is above the surface, and the second one is in a cavern. There are also a few mineable materials that players can mine for RUs.
- The word "Gaze" means "a steady intent look", which is where someone or something looks steadily and intently in admiration, surprise, or even in thought.
- This of course fits for the nature of the planet, as it is filled with many eyes that stare consciously, not to mention that its inhabited by a species with Eyeballs for heads.
- Interestingly, theres a similar crashed spacecraft located on the neighboring planet of Viaran. Although, it seems to be a completely different ship, and not a light cruiser.
- Aetheria's moon previously had the remains of a spacecraft with the same purple coloring, prior to its removal after the Happy Place was moved back to its original position.
