The Ancient Fighter is an exclusive ship which spawns in the Wanwood System on Viaran. The ship only spawns once and has around a 5-minute cooldown, and costs 1150 Ru. It cannot have ammo replenished nor can it be repaired. The ship is the only ship that can Hyperspeed inside of Planets. But can only do this when first spawned in, on Viaran. Which might be an unintended feature. If you enter space, this does not seem to work anymore. The fighter itself is very powerful in weaponry, its lasers are faster than a Bomber's chaingunner. And the cannon is also powerful, taking down shields of ships pretty quickly. It also has a turn speed even greater than the Defender. Though, its health is similar to that of an Interceptor, so it cannot do anything else other than ambushing enemies and defending planets. Trying to invade a defended enemy planet with this ship is not a good idea, as it isn't made for it because of its low hull and shield.
